Monday

Next Monday is the last day we meet this Sem.

Print HDR from Sydney or elsewhere.
Test paper towers.
Screen completed videos
and finish drawings.

Intro to Sem 2 Assignments, Ron Rado and Foto Biennale in Ballarat.

Assessment for my classes will be creative thinking. All other modules are on going in Sem 2. Full day with Janette on Thursday. Simon on Friday, following week assessment no classes.

BALLARAT PHOTOGRAPHY EXCURSION



Plans are a foot to attend the Ballarat International Foto Biennale which runs from the 20th August until the 18th September. This will be the largest photographic event in the Southern Hemisphere for 2011. If you are interested in Photography , this is for YOU!

The idea will be that students can attend either 1 day or 3 days depending on their budget and work commitments.

Dates: Thursday, 25th - Saturday 27th August

Option 1: Attend 1 day on Friday 26th August. (Travel by train to Ballarat).


Option 2: 3 Days . Possible free minibus available. 2 nights accommodation at Backpackers. Return on minibus.

Monday

The video shoot will now take place for EVERYONE on Monday (all day)

We will also continue to print HDR and resolve the collage home (drawing) and print it.

Session plans for Sem 2 will be post shortly on Moodle.

Tuesday(Sem 2) has been shortened a little and there are no extended hours.

Congratulations to Tom, Mia , John and Pete for their great effort on Thursday.

Reminder to Lauren and Stacy to document the night walk on Thursday. It starts at the Drum Theatre (cnr Walker and Lonsdale st) and ends at the Walker street gallery. Some of the videos will be screened at the Drum theatre. Take LOTS of photos.
